Electrical or Computer Software * 3 + years of Electronics Module Software Design & Release Engineer experience. Ford experience a plus. * Experience with Module hardware or software release processes Even better, you may have... * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross functional global teams * Working knowledge of Ford engineering software management tools including JIRA, VSEM, SMPSN, and SWAD databases. * End of Line (EOL) module configuration & DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) issue resolution experience. * Vehicle level testing and software validation experience. * Experience interfacing with Ford Voice of Customer Fleet issues and troubleshooting vehicles. In-Vehicle Infotainment background a plus. * Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills * Experience with automotive networks such as Value-CAN, Vehicle Spy and CANalyzer. * Experience with Software re-flash tools/processes. * Excellent project management and communications skills * Ford Project Management toolset experience with FEDE-BOM, FEDE-DV, WERS, & CDR's. * Cost analysis skills beneficial. * Periodic Travel required to different plants throughout North America to support Launches. * Experience with using automotive technologies such as Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and/or Voice recognition. ## Description Software D&R or Applications engineer. Act as the single point of contact to the Vehicle Program teams for all In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) software-related deliverables. Primary interface between the In-House IVI core software and Program teams. Drive resolution of IVI software related issues and collaborate with other Ford cross-functional teams on root cause. What you'll do... * Initiate Jira's and interface with the IVI software product owners/developers for resolution of issues. Along with timing to support program milestones. * Perform initial triage analysis of Bug Reports, logs, and CAN data to expedite issue resolution. * IVI feature expert on Program specific content, feature operations, and EOL configurations. * Drive resolution of software related issues and collaborate with other Ford cross-functional teams on root cause. * Onsite plant support for functional audits, and End of Line (EOL) issue resolution.
