This role requires enough technical understanding to manage delivery, timelines, dependencies, and risks across infrastructure initiatives, but does not require hands-on engineering or administration experience. The ideal candidate has managed projects involving physical and virtual servers, Windows and Red Hat operating systems, middleware platforms such as JBoss, Apache, and IIS, and databases including Oracle and SQL Server. Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or CockroachDB is a plus. Candidates should understand how these technologies interact within an enterprise infrastructure environment and how applications, databases, and networks work together to support business services.
