Hearing disabilities may be ## Description The Senior Director of Senior Director of IT Business Applications is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all IT systems, applications, and data capabilities supporting specialty pharmacy operations. This role ensures that technology enables safe, compliant, scalable, and efficient pharmaceutical services while meeting regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, HITECH, DEA, and state pharmacy laws. The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership, pharmacy operations, clinical teams, payer relations, and compliance to align IT strategy with business goals, improve patient outcomes, and support growth, innovation, and operational excellence., · Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with organizational goals, growth initiatives, and specialty pharmacy operational needs · Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology and digital transformation · Drive innovation and continuous improvement across pharmacy systems, data platforms, and patient-facing technologies · Oversee implementation, optimization, and support of pharmacy management systems (PMS), dispensing, workflow, e-prescribing, and clinical platforms · Ensure seamless integration between PMS, EHRs, payer systems, manufacturers, specialty hubs, and third-party vendors · Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and new technology roll outs with minimal operational disruption · Ensure IT compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, DEA, FDA, SOC, and applicable state pharmacy regulations · Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans · Conduct risk assessments, audits, and vendor security reviews in collaboration with Compliance and Legal · Oversee IT infrastructure including cloud services, networks, servers, endpoints, and telephony · Ensure high system availability, performance, scalability, and data integrity · Manage helpdesk, incident response, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with internal IT team and external vendors · Lead data governance, data quality, and reporting initiatives to support clinical outcomes, payer reporting, and manufacturer requirements · Enable actionable insights through dashboards, analytics, and automation · Support compliance reporting, audits, and performance metrics · Manage IT budget, forecasting, and cost optimization · Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management · Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value · Build, mentor, and lead high-performing IT teams across applications, infrastructure, security, and data · Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning · Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and professional development pathways · Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or mandated by company needs.
