## Description

* Leadership Summary

This role is effectively a vendor governance and service management position focused on:

 * MSP/vendor performance oversight
 * Contract governance
 * Service delivery management
 * Risk and compliance management
 * Operational health reporting
 * Business-to-vendor coordination
 * Develop and implement IT outsourcing policies, standards, and procedures aligned with IT strategy.
 * Administer contracts for outsourced services (e.g., help desk, data center operations) in partnership with Procurement and Legal.
 * Analyze and report on vendor performance.
 * Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendors meet business and contractual requirements.
 * Oversee service delivery governance and contract compliance.
 * Facilitate resolution of operational and application service issues with vendors.
 * Identify risks associated with outsourced services and establish appropriate controls.
 * Report operational health and service performance to business and IT leadership.
 * Applies deep expertise in IT outsourcing management.
 * May manage short- to mid-term projects with responsibility for costs, methods, and outcomes.
 * Solves atypical challenges requiring ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
 * Has broad knowledge across related IT disciplines.
 * Contributes to new processes, standards, and operational plans.
 * Identifies problems and solutions.
 * Supports project execution, including objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
 * Helps drive successful project outcomes.
 * Exercises independent judgment and advises on courses of action.
 * May negotiate resolutions to issues.
 * Can make recommendations on scope and strategy.
 * Incorrect decisions can significantly impact major projects and business objectives
