This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with deep technical instincts and a collaborative spirit to work directly on the personalized streaming experience for our growing mobile customer base. As a senior technical contributor and team guide, you will help the team navigate complex problems in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment. We pride ourselves on constantly evaluating and adapting the latest iOS and tvOS capabilities, and theres always something new to learn. This role sits at the intersection of deep Apple platform engineering and AI-native development: daily use of AI agents and AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) and hands-on collaboration with ML and data science teams on client-facing features. The ideal candidate is a technically solid engineer who works well across teams, communicates clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders, and brings a methodical approach to building reliable, scalable mobile experiences. Experience working alongside data science, ML, and product teams is a plus., + Successfully manage multiple tasks and projects in a results-driven environment. + Excellent programming skills in Swift + In-depth knowledge of the iOS and tvOS platforms and deep knowledge with Xcode. + Experience working with memory management, multi-threaded programming, animations, etc. + Experience working on UI design for all size-classes. + Experience in consuming RESTful APIs to connect with back-end services. + Strong problem solving and architectural skills. + Experience with A/B testing, feature flagging, and client-side experimentation including experiment assignment, holdout groups, and measuring feature impact within an existing testing framework. + Experience integrating ad-serving products into Apple applications knowledge with ad surfaces, impression tracking, and working alongside ad tech teams in a production environment. + Working knowledge with ML-driven product features enough to collaborate proficiently with data science teams on API contracts, discuss what signals the client should capture, and reason about whether issues are a data, model, or rendering problem. + Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work well with non- technical members of the development team. + Ability to assist others in a technical capacity. Basic Qualifications: + 7+ years of Apple development experience. + Acted as a key contributor to at least one publically released native iPhone application. + Experience working with Agile development processes. + Desired Qualifications - BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience. + Background supporting the integration of rich media assets, including video, into mobile properties. + Experience building data-driven or server-driven UI personalized feeds, ranked content surfaces, dynamic layouts, and the pagination, prefetching, and cache invalidation strategies that keep high-velocity content feeling fast and fresh. + Experience working with entertainment, games, news, or sports-related properties preferred.
