## About the Role

Must have:

 + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation

 + 5 years of experience with overall Identity Access Management

 + 4 years of experience in the development of Okta, including implementation, installation, configuration and administration of various components

 + 4 years of hands-on experience integrating applications with Okta SSO

 + 4 years of hands-on experience migrating legacy header-based applications to modern authentication standards with SAML, OIDC and OAuth

 + 4 years of hands-on experience with OAG implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

## Description

IAM Okta Engineer wanted by American Express Global Business Travel in New York, NY.

What You'll Do

 + Review and lead the gathering of business, functional and technical requirements for establishing an Okta Identity platform

 + Complete assigned engagement tasks within the project scope and budget, while meeting deliverable requirements

 + Provide hands-on development/coding in Okta

 + Create, update, and maintain metrics and reports showing progress and value of the IAM program

 + Review updates and new features of Okta and make recommendations for implementation to the environment

 + Provide technical leadership and oversight to the IAM team

 + Support the creation of project plans developing and implementing the proposed solution

 + Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

 + Lead upgrades to the Okta platform

 + Set up and maintain AWS IAM Roles pushed from the Okta environment

 + Work closely with development, infrastructure, and service delivery teams understanding their needs and delivering a cost-effective solution

 + Suggest new functionality as an improvement to the existing Okta platform.
