## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications related to avionics and aircraft systems, including navigation, autoflight, propulsion, and maintenance. The role involves participating in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and software certification. You will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions and should have some knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Responsibilities

 * Modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications related to avionics and aircraft systems.
 * Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
 * Design, develop, code, and document applications following specifications using appropriate tools.
 * Perform non-routine tasks requiring judgment and initiative under regular direction and guidance.
 * Make minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of approaches and routines.
 * Propose solutions to problems for others to review.
