HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ CE certified. Must be CCNA or CCNP certified. CCIE certification desired. Extensive experience designing, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers/switches, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches. Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations. Able to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired. Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution. Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI). Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ## Description Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Solutions Architect to provide technical infrastructure support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex.
