Preferred Education/Experience * Bachelor's degree in related field. * Experience in IT security or IT service desk. * Knowledge of related concepts and practices. * Experience working in a university or state government setting. * PeopleSoft experience. Accompanying Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies * Support development of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLM) systems as a reference for troubleshooting. * Display the highest levels of personal integrity, professionalism, judgment, and maturity. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. * Respond flexibly and positively in all circumstances, working calmly under pressure. * Ability to maintain confidential information. * Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system ## Description The Access Control Analyst is responsible for defining, configuring, and administering PeopleSoft access control across multiple instances (development, test, production, etc.) which includes interacting and working closely with multiple teams to implement access control roles and permissions. The position ensures UT Tyler and UT Tyler Health Science Center are compliant with applicable policies. Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks * Configure and develop security objects that adhere Oracle/PeopleSoft/UT System development standards and best practices and document the security infrastructure so that it may be interpreted, maintained, and enhanced. * Apply knowledge of PeopleSoft security delivered functionality (User profiles, Roles, Permission Lists, Portal security, Sync, etc.) to maximize features and functionality in support of identified customer requirements. Make recommendations to improve, streamline, and automate PeopleSoft access control. * Respond to, and troubleshoot, reported problems pertaining to the PeopleSoft applications access control and integrity.
