## About the Role

Tactical SIGINT & Military Architectures: Deep background working with Military Cryptologic Offices, Tactical Collection Capabilities, military SIGINT architectures, and associated data flows.

Data Flow & Interface Engineering: Thorough understanding of system-to-system connections, enterprise data processing capabilities, and dataflow architectures (including Apache NiFi flow file attributes).

Requirements & Project Management: Proven ability to manage project scope, elicit vague requirements, build work breakdown structures, and maintain roadmaps using Jira and Confluence.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building trusted relationships across external customers and mission partners.

Systems Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated experience applying ISO/IEC 15288 principles across technical, project, and enterprise process areas.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 15+ years of professional systems engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS 13+ years of specialized professional experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 19+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and dataflow management experience in lieu of a degree., Data Format Mastery: Hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data formats, including CSV, JSON, PCAP, and XML.
IC & DoD Intelligence Center Exposure: Prior experience collaborating with DoW Service Intelligence Centers (such as NASIC) and broad Intelligence Community (IC) data networks.
Command Structure Knowledge: Strong understanding of DoW command structures, operational relationships, and joint military environments.

In this role, you will bring together full-lifecycle systems engineering rigor and agile project management to engineer end-to-end data flows for tactical mission partners. You won't just manage schedules from afar-you'll build strong relationships with external customers, dig deep into complex tactical data structures, and translate broad or ambiguous needs into crisp, structured engineering roadmaps.
