## About the Role

* Bachelors Degree minimum
 * 5+ years of professional software development experience
 * 5+ years of experience in Python, Rust and/or C++
 * Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or worker granted asylum or refugee status.
 * Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen., * Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science
 * History of developing compiled python extensions
 * Understanding of common HPC software such as Slurm or PBS
 * Experience collaborating with external scientific and technical partners
 * Ability to solve complex problems and ability to communicate how you did it
 * Rust development experience with a track-record of contribution to open-source and commercial projects

## Description

* Write high quality, maintainable code in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment
 * Build and maintain scalable orchestration software to manage hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
 * Develop robust interfaces between HPC job schedulers (e.g., Slurm) and quantum runtimes, optimizing data movement and job scheduling.
 * Work with QPU hardware control systems and SDKs to integrate quantum execution into production pipelines.
 * Ensure high availability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed hybrid systems.
