Minimum Technology Skills: * Adobe Creative Suite (including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom) is desired. * Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). ## Description The College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) seeks applicants for a TES Social Media Specialist in our Office of Commnications and Marketing. This position will report to the CADC Communications Manager and work closely with all CADC units to plan, design, and produce CADC social media content and campaigns, as well as assist in the creation of graphic design, print media, and electronic media., Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being: * Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time * Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads * Assistance with special projects * Seasonal work * Emergencies If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a great way to showcase your professional skills and assist Auburn University while gaining valuable work experience within higher education. Responsibilities Essential functions include, but are not limited to: * Oversees social media accounts for CADC and its three Schools, including monitoring comments and private messages and reporting on reach and impact. Ensures visuals of all accounts are kept up-to-date and fresh. Strategizes ways to grow CADC audience. * Curates, writes, edits, and publishes original content on a consistent basis. Ensures CADC's brand consistency through tone, voice, terminology.
