Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # COMSEC/Cryptographic Modernization Air & Ground Cryptographic Analysis-4 - **Company:** Credence Management Solutions, LLC - **Location:** Scott Air Force Base, IL, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Excel, Databases, Information Management, Key Management, Microsoft Office - **Published:** July 1, 2026 - **Apply:** https://jobs.localjobnetwork.com/apply/add/87008888/1 ## About the Role * Demonstrated proficiency in Space COMSEC principles, encompassing the full lifecycle management of cryptographic equipment from development and fielding through sustainment. * Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cryptographic key management, including ordering, generation, distribution, and destruction, using systems such as KMI; comprehensive understanding of the strategic roles and operational responsibilities of Controlling Authorities and COMSEC account management. * In-depth knowledge of and experience with strategic-level NSA, DoD, and DAF security policies and procedures related to cryptographic and keying material, including classification guides for cryptographic algorithms, equipment, and COMSEC keying material. * Minimum of 2 years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams using TMT or other staff coordination standards, document reviews, program updates, and background papers to drive adoption of critical recommendations. * Minimum of 2 years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of critical recommendations. ## Description * Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, working groups, etc. * Draft, edit, and review a variety of correspondence and documentation, primarily using Microsoft Office applications. * Provide information management, records management, scheduling functions, and meeting/conference support. * Prepare briefing/training materials and present briefings/trainings. * Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization. * Provide awareness of new/evolving requirements and recommendations for integration. * Provide support for planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution. * Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies. Task-Specific Responsibilities * Analyze the solutions proposed in Tasks 1 and 2 and their ability to effectively close identified capability gaps for Air & Ground systems. * Conduct analysis during Air Force development and implementation of the crypto solution, and provide data to the Government to verify the solution meets the needs identified in Tasks 1 and 2. The Government will actively participate in the development and implementation of data collection and evaluation methodologies, and all resulting data will be subject to Government review and independent verification to validate solution effectiveness. * Evaluate the solution, implementation, and transition, and report any deviations from the implementation plan that would impact the warfighter. Solutions may range from ordering and installing off-the-shelf crypto devices, to major modification R&D efforts, to designing and building a new crypto device. Evaluate selected implementations against current and potential future vulnerabilities. * During the algorithm transition phase, provide recommendations to CONAUTHs and system users, and periodically assess and report, in writing or verbally as requested by the Government, status toward meeting the algorithm transition deadline.
