Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Data Analyst - **Company:** Amyx, Inc. - **Location:** Reston, VA, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $95,000.0 - $140,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** XML Schema, Data Analysis, Data Dictionary, Data Governance, Data Retention, Data Warehousing, Relational Databases, Metadata, SQL Databases, Extensible Markup Language (XML), Enterprise Application Integration, Data Strategy, Data Management, 3-tier Architectures - **Published:** July 3, 2026 - **Apply:** https://jobs.localjobnetwork.com/apply/add/87634101/1 ## About the Role * Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field, specifically with extensive experience in the review and coordination of new or modified policies, vocabularies and data elements used throughout DoW. * Experience in one or more of the following standards and technologies desired: Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12, Business Enterprise Architecture, data dictionaries, data warehousing, enterprise application integration, metadata registry, Master Data Management (MDM), relational databases, Semantics, data retention, Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedural SQL, XML, including schema definitions (XSD) and transformations. * Extensive experience in representing DoW interests in the Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 data standards management process. * Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 ## Description Provides technical support in the evaluation of data elements, codes, and business rules and data standards. * Evaluate proposed data elements/codes and their attributes. * Ensures that proposed data definitions are clear, concise, technically correct, and accurately represented in the business processes. * Collects business and data requirements, data analysis and develops data strategy and associated policies and procedures. * Implements capabilities to meet business information needs. * Must have the ability to communicate accurate information, Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
