## Description

WBZ-TV/CBS Boston is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Technology to lead the technical strategy and execution of our multi-platform content center. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring the operational excellence, innovation, and future-readiness of our broadcast and streaming infrastructure. Reporting directly to the President and General Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Division Senior Vice President of Engineering, the Director of Technology will play a critical role in shaping the technical vision of a modern television station and streaming operation in one of the nation's most competitive media markets., * Develop and execute a forward-looking technology strategy aligned with organizational goals

 * Lead all engineering and technical operations for broadcast and digital streaming platforms
 * Oversee technical infrastructure supporting news production, content distribution, and multi-platform delivery
 * Drive innovation across television and streaming workflows
 * Ensure regulatory compliance, signal integrity, cybersecurity, and operational reliability
 * Collaborate with station an division leadership on capital planning, vendor relationships, and technology budgets
 * Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering specialist team
 * Partner with Director of News Operations and Production to prioritize station projects
