## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
 * 8+ years of experience in a commercial design firm
 * Licensed or registered architect
 * Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.
 * Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
 * LEED accreditation preferred

## Description

As a Gensler Project Architect you will collaborate with our Practice Area Leaders and Design Directors to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. Your work ethic, combined with your commitment to collaboration and mentoring, makes Gensler the perfect place to nurture your career.

What You Will Do

 * Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc.
 * Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
 * Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
 * Maintain project manual and specifications
 * Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction
