Education & Certifications: * Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field. * Certifications: * DoD 8570.01-M/8140 Compliance: Must meet IAT/IAM Level II or III requirements (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CISM). * Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred. ## Description The incumbent will serve as the technical lead responsible for the deployment, acquisition, and implementation of APEX capabilities within the Joint Capability Development Environment (JCDE) and its Morpheus enterprise architecture. This role requires a technical "bridge" builder who can navigate complex DoW network environments while understanding the broader mission of APEX experimentation. Responsibilities: * Architecture & Deployment: Technical lead for deploying APEX KM/DM into the JCDE/Morpheus cloud environment, integration of edge compute capabilities. * Enterprise Integration: Negotiate feature requests, data schemas, and API integrations with external JCDE/Morpheus and other DoW networks / databases. * Cybersecurity & Compliance: Oversee implementation of NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC security frameworks (DoDI 8500.01 requirements). Navigate the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve and maintain Authorities to Operate (ATO) (DoDI 8510.01 requirements). * DevSecOps: Implement and manage secure CI/CD pipelines and network layouts optimized for high and low side operations. * Experimentation Support: Onsite support at experimentation locations for the deployment and use of APEX KM/DM capabilities and as a technical SME for technologies that utilize cloud, networking, distributed processes, and databases.
