A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience. Experience must include: * Three (3) years of lead work, project lead work, or supervisory experience. * Experience in planning, organizing, and developing IT security system technologies. * Experience in planning and executing security policies and standards within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework. * Advanced knowledge of and experience to plan, implement, and maintain an Information Systems Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. * Knowledge of third-party risk assessment and processes. * Refined written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to express complex information in plain language. * Ability to motivate others and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders., * Demonstrated experience implementing long-term security strategies aligned with business objectives. * Advanced knowledge of and experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. * One or more professional security management certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar., It is the policy of Minnesota State Retirement Systems that all employees submit to a background investigation prior to employment. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US. ## Description The IT Security Supervisor acts as the Chief Information Security Officer for the agency and is responsible for oversight and implementation, monitoring, and training related to agency information security policies, including standards, guidelines, and principles and practices within the organization. The individual ensures a physical and technical environment that promotes data confidentiality, integrity, and availability by developing and applying policies and procedures that guard against unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction of information.
