Experience with: * Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 * Active Directory and Group Policy * DNS, DHCP, and file/print services * VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization * Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID * Azure networking and virtual machines * Familiarity with server monitoring, patching, backup technologies, and security best practices. * Experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues across server, network, and cloud environments. * Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills., * Experience in hybrid on-premises/Azure environments. * Knowledge of Azure Automation, ARM templates, Bicep, or Infrastructure as Code tools. * Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or related endpoint/cloud management tools. * Familiarity with security and compliance standards, vulnerability management, and identity governance. * Experience with CI/CD, automation workflows, or DevOps-oriented infrastructure support. * Microsoft certifications such as: * Azure Administrator Associate * Azure Solutions Architect * Windows Server or related Microsoft certifications Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® ## Description Robert Half has a client seeking a Systems Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our Microsoft server infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Azure services and PowerShell automation. This role is ideal for a hands-on systems professional who has experience managing Windows Server environments, administering hybrid cloud infrastructure, and developing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
