## Description

The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the WDP System.

The work:

 * Implement and manage cloud services, optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available.
 * Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies and guardrails.
 * Design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources, configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources, and implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations.
 * Optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs, implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads, and design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads.
 * Evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption, maintain cloud architecture documentation, and provide cloud expertise to other teams.
