In this role, you will design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade network infrastructure spanning multiple global data centers and cloud environments, supporting the Applied Systems platforms that serve thousands of insurance agencies across North America and the UK. You will be a key contributor to our cloud and datacenter networking initiatives - responsible for hybrid cloud connectivity, infrastructure-as-code networking using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD, and network automation using Ansible. You will also support the day-to-day administration of our F5 BIG-IP load balancing platform, site-to-site VPN estate, and network monitoring stack. This role participates in an on-call rotation and is expected to respond to critical network incidents outside of normal business hours. The ideal candidate brings deep data center networking expertise combined with a growing cloud networking skill set, strong automation instincts, and a commitment to documentation and operational excellence. What You'll Do * Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across GCP, on-premises, and hybrid cloud environments * Manage cloud networking technologies including VPCs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and IP address management * Administer and troubleshoot BGP routing, site-to-site VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity * Support and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancing platforms and related application delivery services * Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and network automation solutions using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible * Monitor network performance, availability, and security using enterprise observability and monitoring tools * Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks * Collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure network solutions. * Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support for critical network incidents and outage., Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $90,000 - $140,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities.
