 + Exposure to at least one modern front-end framework such as Next.js or React.

 + Exposure to back-end development with .NET / C# and/or NestJS GraphQL.

 + Experience with, or willingness to learn, GraphQL integration layers and API development.

 + Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerized deployments (Amazon EKS / Kubernetes), or eagerness to learn.

 + Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated testing.

 + Experience using AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

 + Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.

 + Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

 + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 + Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

## Description

As a Software Engineer I within Servicing Technology, you'll help build and maintain the client-facing and team member-facing servicing applications used by millions of Rocket homeowners. Servicing Technology is undergoing a full-scale System of Record modernization, and you'll contribute across the stack - front end and back end - while growing your craft alongside experienced engineers.

This is a role for someone eager to ship real products and build in an AI-native engineering environment. You will use AI as a core part of how you design, code, test, and debug software, and you'll be supported with mentorship, code review, and clear guidance as you take on increasing ownership.

 + Code and maintain high-quality full-stack software solutions with guidance from senior engineers.

 + Build new features and improve existing functionality across the front end (Next.js or React) and back end (.NET / C#, NestJS GraphQL).

 + Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement product requirements.

 + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

 + Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

 + Deploy and support applications on AWS and Amazon EKS through CI/CD pipelines.

 + Identify and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner.

 + Use AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar as part of your daily workflow.
