## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, OR advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Nice to Have

 + MS in Electrical Engineering.

 + Familiarity with lab/testing environment.

 + Experience in Medical Device/FDA Regulated Industry and compliance with IEC60601-1-2.

 + Familiarity with EMC test standards and RF regulations (e.g., FCC, EN, CISPR).

 + Experienced with test equipment such as DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, power amplifiers etc.

 + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 + Experience in SMT soldering.

 + Ability to function as a team member in a collaborative work environment.

 + Attention to detail and good organizational skills.

 + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 + Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

 + Experienced with test equipment such as DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, power amplifiers etc.

## Description

Minimed is seeking an experienced Sr. EMC Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of EMC testing methods and equipment for product verification and compliance. In this role, you will plan and coordinate testing schedules, define test parameters and procedures, and ensure the proper setup of equipment required for sample evaluation. Responsibilities include analyzing and compiling test data, identifying and implementing improvements to testing equipment, procedures, and manufacturing processes, as well as supporting new testing requirements. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for authoring detailed verification test plans and comprehensive test reports while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure product quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

 + Support design verification activities associated with a family of insulin delivery pump/transmitter systems used by individuals to effectively manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

 + Support EMC testing and global RF licensing activities of new and existing products (in-house or third-party labs).

 + Support the development and implementation of EMC design guidelines and best practices.

 + Operate a fully equipped semi-anechoic chamber and electrical testing equipment, such as DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, power amplifiers, microscopes, oscilloscopes

 + Develop and document design verification test protocol, plans, and reports in compliance with FDA/ISO and global regulations.
