## About the Role

* BA/BS/BFA degree or equivalent experience
 * 5-7 years' experience in design, and or Technical Design Engineering
 * Experience with PLM (Centric), or other Product Management system
 * Proficient in Rhino 3D, Solid Works, Z-Brush and Adobe Illustrator
 * Strong taste level and design aesthetic
 * Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
 * Strong math and collaborative skills
 * Able to work in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-channel environment

## Description

Creative Scope

 * Execute technical specifications for hardware development
 * Thoroughly review all vendor technical specs and apply clear and concise feedback.
 * CAD support through Illustrator and Rhino renderings based on conceptual direction.
 * Trouble shoot and provide technical guidance to hardware Design Team
 * Meet with hardware and trim suppliers and present cards to Design, when necessary
 * Organized file saving processes for designs easy reference of materials like specs, vendor technical designs and 3D files.
 * Clearly organize developments within powerpoint for collaborative team communication
 * Ensure all Hardware Milestones are top of mind and deadlines are met.

Cross-Functional & Key partnerships

 * Assist in communication between PD and design for hardware
 * Drive toward supporting Corporate Goals (ie: streamlining initiative...)
 * Partner very closely with the Design & Product Development teams
 * Build relationships with local casters and local sample room for projects with sharp leadtimes
