Interest in biotechnology workforce development and translational research. ## Description The Department of Plant and Environmental Protection Sciences (PEPS), within the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience (CTAHR) at the University of Hawai?i at Manoa, seeks a motivated Scientific Support and Coordination Officer to support the Genome on the Go! mobile genomics and agricultural biosecurity training initiative. Genome on the Go! is a nationally expanding workforce development and research training platform supported by USDA NextGEN PaCON, NIH-supported genomics initiatives, and partner institutions across Hawai?i, the Pacific Islands, and the continental United States. The program delivers hands-on training in portable genomics, DNA sequencing, molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, and agricultural biosecurity using mobile laboratory systems.
