## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in IT enterprise network engineering or network operations
 * 4+ years working with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls, WLCs, VoIP, and load balancing F5 LTM)
 * Strong experience with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) in complex environments
 * Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve high-impact network issues in production environments
 * Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools (SolarWinds preferred)
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
 * Network+ certification required
 * CCNA (or higher) preferred
 * Experience with automation or scripting is a plus

## Description

As a key member of our Network Services team, you'll:

 * Own the lifecycle management of enterprise network infrastructure, including data connectivity, load balancing, internet services, and network security platforms
 * Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support across:

 * Cisco routing/switching (routers, switches, wireless controllers)
 * Enterprise VoIP / collaboration platforms (Webex)
 * SmartOptics WAN connectivity
 * F5 LTM load balancers
 * Palo Alto firewalls

 * Monitor and optimize network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, proactively identifying issues and capacity constraints
 * Diagnose and resolve complex network issues involving routing (BGP, OSPF), QoS, traffic flow, and security policies
 * Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure high availability and operational efficiency across the network
 * Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, including working with Cisco SMARTnet for support and compliance
 * Support a 24x7 production environment, including participation in after-hours or weekend work as needed
 * Perform hands-on infrastructure work, including rack/stack and hardware deployments when required
