(2PV) * 4+ Years of knowledge of various wire harness tools to include manual and pneumatic crimpers is preferred * IPC/WHMA-A-620 highly desired, High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. ## Description As a Harness Technician Sr, you will work hands-on with space hardware, translating designs into reality, and your skill and attention to detail will translate directly to on-orbit mission success. Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality and repetitious manner for Spacecraft installation. This role requires the ability to work the Second shift. This position's internal job code is Avionics and Harness Technician Sr. Our team is currently hiring for Grade 24. Position Responsibilities: * Fabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems * Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality For Racks, Boxes * Explain assembly procedures or techniques to co-workers * Work and take direction from team leader for project completion * Confer with supervisors regarding any anticipated production problems * Cross-train/mentor new hires * Other duties as assigned This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. ยง 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee., * This is a union-represented position * This is an hourly position governed by the Cabinet Makers, Millmen and Industrial Carpenters Union (CMM&IC Local 721) * The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned * New hires and employees transferring from non-union roles may be required to attend or complete training within their 90-day probationary period. Continued employment is contingent on successfully completing the probationary period.
