## About the Role

* Extensive experience building and delivering native iOS applications used in production environments
 * Expert-level proficiency with Swift, including strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
 * Solid understanding of modern web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript
 * Experience working within large, complex codebases and the ability to quickly understand existing architecture
 * Strong background writing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, including unit and integration tests
 * Passion for producing high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
 * Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership is highly preferred
 * Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.

## Description

They are seeking a Staff iOS Software Engineer to play a key role in the evolution of a widely used mobile application. This individual will provide technical leadership, contribute hands-on to development efforts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that impact millions of users.

What You'll Do

 * Design, develop, test, and maintain features for a large-scale native iOS application
 * Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Swift code while troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
 * Conduct code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability
 * Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new functionality and improve existing features
 * Analyze application performance, investigate crashes, and implement improvements to stability and user experience
 * Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests
 * Mentor fellow engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to engineering best practices
 * Evaluate user behavior and experiment with new ideas to improve engagement and product usability
 * Collaborate effectively with a distributed engineering team across multiple time zones
