## About the Role

 * Proven experience in data cleansing, de-duplication, and formatting.
 * Solid understanding of USPS regulations (First Class, Marketing Mail, Periodicals, etc.).
 * Postal Certification (e.g., USPS Mail Design Professional).

## Description

The Mailing Data Specialist is responsible for transforming raw client data into high-performing, postal-compliant mailing campaigns. You will leverage the full power of Postal Software to maximize postage discounts and ensure precision in every mail drop. Essential Functions

 * Data Formatting: Map and format data for variable data printing (VDP) and inkjet addressing.
 * Postal Processing: Use Postalsoft for CASS certification, NCOA updates, and merge/purge operations.
 * Presorting: Perform complex presorts for various mail classes to secure maximum postage discounts.
 * Documentation: Generate required USPS documentation and Mail.dat files for electronic submission.
 * Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service and Production to ensure data integrity and meet project timelines.
 * Growth: Maintain technical expertise by attending continuing education and software workshops to keep us at the forefront of mailing technology.
