## About the Role

* 5-8 years in software or ML engineering, with recent, substantial LLM work
 * Hands-on fine-tuning experience with LLMs such as Llama, plus production experience building on APIs like Claude
 * Strong Python; solid grasp of the modern LLM stack (vector stores, orchestration frameworks, serving and inference optimisation)
 * Real production experience - you've supported what you built, not just demoed it
 * Proven delivery in fast-paced environments with small teams and tight timelines
 * Sound judgement on evaluation, safety and data handling

Nice to have

 * Cloud ML platforms (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI, GCP Vertex)
 * Time-series or IoT data - smart meter, sensor, or grid telemetry
 * Open-source contributions, or an interest in the energy transition
