Early-stage or startup experience-working directly with users and moving quickly-is a strong plus. * A solid grasp of AI, solution design, and engineering best practices, with the judgement to assess feasibility and shape sound solutions. Comfort with Python, modern LLM and agentic tooling-including model APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agents-and SQL/data is expected; hands-on engineering experience is a plus. * A bachelor's degree; a STEM background or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred. * A track record of gathering requirements from non-technical users and translating them into solutions people actually adopt. * Genuine interest in financial markets and how investment research gets done. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior investment professionals. * Strong product instinct, bias to action, high energy, and comfort operating with ambiguity. * Commitment to the highest ethical standards. ## Description * Act as a forward-deployed solution architect: partner with EMEA Pods and business groups to identify high-value AI use cases, understand research workflows, and shape practical solution designs. Use lightweight proof-of-concepts selectively to validate value before larger build decisions. * Be the bridge between EMEA teams and the firm's AI resources: turn messy team signal into concrete product and platform asks, surface existing firm capabilities before teams reinvent them, and help firm-wide teams understand regional priorities. * Lead the enablement motion through teach-ins, prompt and tool literacy, and best-practice sharing, helping teams move beyond "AI is new and exciting" towards "AI is how we work." * Provide the light-touch technical support that unblocks a team-such as a quick integration or precise bug report-without owning or maintaining core production systems. * Track adoption and impact with simple metrics, and feed what is working back to the teams building firm-wide capabilities. ## Related Videos - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1146-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) - [Chesterton's Fence - Don't Tear Down the Fence](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2099-chesterton-s-fence-don-t-tear-down-the-fence) - [Creating Industry ready solutions with LLM Models](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/899-creating-industry-ready-solutions-with-llm-models) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1520-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) - [AI in High-Stakes Industries: Lessons Learned](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100253-ai-in-high-stakes-industries-lessons-learned) ## Related Articles - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Coffee with Developers - Maria Apazoglou - Making AI understandable for all in production](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/475-coffee-with-developers-maria-apazoglou-making-ai-understandable-for-all-in-production) - [Stephan Gillich - Bringing AI Everywhere](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/489-stephan-gillich-bringing-ai-everywhere) - [What Industries Outside of AI Are Hiring The Most AI Experts?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/98-what-industries-outside-of-ai-are-hiring-the-most-ai-experts) - [Graph and AI Trends 2026: Why Is AI Running but Not Yet Delivering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/680-graph-and-ai-trends-2026-why-is-ai-running-but-not-yet-delivering)
