The energy industry is undergoing a major repositioning, with companies pursuing conventional oil and gas exploration and development alongside increasing investments in renewable energy. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an inquisitive mind and a genuine interest in all areas of the energy industry. The team works in a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week at the Stonehouse office., * Max. 2 years of relevant work experience, graduates are welcome * Degree-level education, preferably in an earth science discipline. * Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write clearly and concisely. * Good IT skills - strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel, and competency in a Windows environment. * Some experience with GIS software and an understanding of relational databases and data tables. * Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines. Skills that stand out: * Hands-on experience with a GIS platform such as MapInfo, ArcGIS, or QGIS. * Foreign language skills, particularly relevant to international energy regions. * Experience with AI tools such as Claude for research, data processing, or writing workflows.
