## About the Role

* Active SC (Security Check) clearance.
 * Proven experience working as a Data Analyst within UK Government or large public sector organisations.
 * Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing relational databases.
 * Experience with Microsoft Power BI for dashboard development and reporting.
 * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
 * Experience analysing large, complex datasets.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
 * Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
 * Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
 * Strong documentation and reporting skills.

## Description

* Gather, analyse, and interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
 * Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
 * Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through exploratory data analysis.
 * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
 * Produce clear documentation, including data definitions, analytical methodologies, and business recommendations.
 * Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and recommending improvements.
 * Write efficient SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources.
 * Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and integrity.
 * Present analytical findings to senior stakeholders and programme teams.
 * Work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Delivery Managers within Agile delivery teams.
 * Ensure compliance with HMRC security, governance, and data protection standards.
