You'll build the internal tools and platform systems that Nuro's operations, engineering, and partner teams rely on to manage, monitor, and maintain our autonomous vehicle fleet. This is hands-on product engineering work at the intersection of fleet operations and software infrastructure. You'll own features end-to-end - from building responsive frontends that surface real-time vehicle and fleet data, to designing backend services that integrate with onboard systems, cloud infrastructure, and partner APIs. The systems you build will directly impact how reliably and efficiently Nuro operates vehicles on public roads. You'll report to the Technical Lead Manager for On-Road Experience. What You'll Do * Design, build, and ship full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web development practices. * Develop backend services and APIs that integrate with vehicle systems, cloud infrastructure, and external partner platforms. * Build tools that enable fleet monitoring, vehicle health tracking, maintenance workflows, and operational decision-making. * Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Operations, and partner integration teams to define requirements and deliver user-facing products. * Own features end-to-end: scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration based on user feedback. * Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, component libraries, and shared platform patterns used across the org. * Improve system reliability through testing, monitoring, alerting, and production support practices. ## Related Videos - [Build and Deploy a Fullstack App with Open Source Tooling](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/775-build-and-deploy-a-fullstack-app-with-open-source-tooling) - [The Resilience of the World Wide Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1281-the-resilience-of-the-world-wide-web) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Minimal infrastructure for Real‑Time Phone Agents: transcripts in, responses out](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1736-minimal-infrastructure-for-real-time-phone-agents-transcripts-in-responses-out) - [The user in the eye of the Cargo1492 storm](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/96-the-user-in-the-eye-of-the-cargo1492-storm) - [NoLoJS - Avoiding JavaScript Cruft with HTML and CSS - Aaron T.
