What We're Looking For * Degree in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or another highly quantitative discipline. * Commercial experience within emissions measurement, atmospheric science, environmental monitoring or a similar scientific field. * Strong understanding of greenhouse gas measurement, atmospheric transport, dispersion modelling or environmental data analysis. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex real-world datasets. * Strong Python skills for scientific analysis (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy or similar). * Experience communicating technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to work collaboratively across software, engineering and scientific teams. Desirable Experience * MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline. * Experience within methane emissions, oil & gas, utilities, landfill, wastewater, biogas or similar industrial environments. * Knowledge of emissions reporting frameworks such as OGMP 2.0 or measurement-informed inventories. * Experience with GIS, spatial analysis or atmospheric modelling. * Exposure to lidar, spectroscopy, remote sensing or optical measurement technologies. * Understanding of scientific software development, version control and reproducible research practices. Working closely with software engineers, data scientists and hardware specialists, you'll help shape the scientific foundations behind an industry-leading product while producing customer insight that directly influences operational and environmental decision making.
