## About the Role

for embedded hardware and communication interfaces. Write unit and integration tests and supporting test scripts. Diagnose and resolve firmware and hardware issues. Read and interpret hardware schematics and datasheets. Evaluate new hardware devices and designs. Debug embedded systems using appropriate test equipment. Produce technical documentation, including APIs and communication protocols. Use task tracking tools to manage development activities. Contribute to reliability analysis, risk assessments and FMEA.About YouYou'll ideally have: 5+ years' experience working with embedded systems. Strong commercial experience developing bare-metal firmware in C. Knowledge of embedded communication protocols such as SPI, RS485 and CAN. Experience debugging embedded hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and multimeters. Good understanding of electronics and the ability to read schematics. Experience using task tracking and development tools. Strong problem-solving and
analytical skills.
