## About the Role

* MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
 * More than 3 years of relevant work experience in industry or academia programming robots
 * Strong in system modeling and abstract thinking
 * Practical software engineering experience with C++, Python and ROS in a Linux or Unix environment
 * Experience in software testing and system validation
 * Strong project management experience
 * Strong communications skills, fluent in German and English (oral and written)

## Description

* Lead developer of automated tools to evaluate safety, security, and reliability of connected robotic systems
 * Design and productization of proof-of-concept demonstrators
 * Strategic development of novel commercial TIC service offerings
 * Hands-on software development and hardware integration where necessary
 * Draft design documents, requirements and guidelines
 * Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members
 * Liaise with internal and external business stakeholders and represent TÜV SÜD at industry forums, standardization committees, and special interest groups
