Desirable skills and knowledge * Image processing, computer vision, machine learning or related technologies. * Embedded and real-time software systems. * Modern user interfaces and web-based applications. * Continuous integration, automated testing and DevOps practices. * Agile software development methodologies. * Basic knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanics or other engineering disciplines. ## Description As a Senior Software Engineer, you design, develop and maintain the software that powers TOMRA Mining's sensor-based sorters. Working in a small and highly collaborative team, you contribute across a wide range of technical areas, including image and data processing, machine learning, user interfaces, system integration and software architecture. You will collaborate closely with experts in minerals processing, sensor technology, physics, optics, electronics and mechanical engineering to develop sensor-based sorting solutions for the mining industry. You will also have opportunities to test and validate your software at customer sites around the world, gaining first-hand insight into how your solutions perform in real operating environments and create value for our customers.
