**Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Unity 3d, Business Analytics Applications, Data Analysis, Spreadsheets, Design of User Interfaces, Data Analytics - **Published:** August 1, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.adzuna.de/details/5822452611 ## About the Role * An experienced Game Designer with strong level design skills * Ready to work on hybrid casual titles either from prototype or with already millions of daily users and their own player communities * A strong believer in teamwork * Not afraid of innovation and learning new tools on the go * Approaching your work with joy and genuine curiosity, * At least 5 years of game design experience in a mobile F2P studio or gaming company, with a focus on casual or hybrid-casual games and hands-on level design. * Proven ability to conceptualize, create, implement, and manage complex game and level-design projects, including level creation and balancing, using relevant tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment. * Strong knowledge of game design principles, including mechanics and systems, economy design, monetization, live ops, level design, balancing, pacing, difficulty tuning, and player progression. * Strong F2P mindset and experience using KPIs, analytics, spreadsheets, and analytical tools to make data-driven design and balancing decisions. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and maintain detailed design documentation. * Broad knowledge of the gaming market and current trends, with a strong passion for casual and hybrid-casual mobile games. * Strong empathy and the ability to understand the needs, motivations, and experiences of the target audience. * Experience using AI tools for game and level design, prototyping, balancing, and data analysis Advantage * Proficiency in Unity 3D * 3+ years of experience specifically on Hybrid/Casual Puzzle games ## Description * Design new game systems, features, mechanics, and content from concept through implementation, as well as engaging levels, missions, and experiences using internal tools. * Define level structure, sequencing, and difficulty progression to create an engaging player journey. * Balance and maintain the game's economy and monetization systems. * Design, support, analyze, and improve live ops events to increase player engagement and meet business goals. * Analyze game metrics, KPIs, market trends, playtest results, team input, and community feedback to identify improvement opportunities. * Collaborate with Product Owners and Data Analysts to define requirements, shape roadmaps, evaluate performance, and improve key game KPIs. * Create and maintain clear design documentation, including briefs, flowcharts, feature specifications, level layouts, and UI/UX mockups. * Participate in key production reviews, design reviews, and development milestones. * Contribute creative ideas and design leadership within an agile, multidisciplinary team. * Continuously research industry trends, best practices, and emerging game and level design techniques and technologies. ## Related Videos -
