[Required] Education: * Associate [Preferred] Field of Study: * in medical billing and coding or information technology Work Experience: * 2+ health information management (him) or medical records experience [Required] ## Description Manages the credentialing software database, including auditing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Audits, analyzes, and maintains the integrity of provider data in the credentialing system for division providers. Verifies, adds, deletes, or edits all non-credentialed physicians and physician health extenders in the credentialing system. Develops and delivers reports reflecting operating performance and compliance with standards and applicable state and accrediting agency requirements. Ensures regulatory compliance with division, facility, and policies regarding expirables such as licensure, DEA, board certification, malpractice insurance, and applicable certifications. Completes database management to ensure appropriate access and confidentiality while maintaining the integrity of the credentialing database. Provides statistical and analytical reports to local medical staff offices and other stakeholders. Maintains close working relationships with medical staff offices, division, and other customers. Assists with facility and divisional reports. Assists in special projects. Supports the health system mission, values, and philosophy.
