## About the Role

* 6+ years of overall IT and software engineering experience
 * 4+ years of experience designing and building API-driven services
 * Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework)
 * Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures in Java
 * Experience with distributed systems (resiliency, fault tolerance, scalability) and cloud-native application architecture
 * Experience with backend data access (JPA/Hibernate, SQL/NoSQL integration)
 * Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (HTML5, CSS3)
 * Experience with at least one modern, globally supported front-end framework (e.g., React)
 * Strong background in database schema design, performance tuning, and optimization
 * Proficiency with Git and modern source-control workflows
 * Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
 * Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week

Desired skills:

 * Experience with Python
 * Familiarity with automated testing methodologies, particularly with tools such as TOSCA
 * Experience with enterprise databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
 * Experience with Ansible, REDIS, and PostgreSQL
 * Experience with enterprise automation and orchestration platforms (e.g., Ansible, BMC TrueSight Orchestrator)
 * Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL processes
