The ideal candidate for this role possesses, * Minimum 3 years of demonstrable Node.js experience, building intricate backend systems

 * Demonstrable creative problem-solving ability
 * Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies
 * Working knowledge of system architecture and database design
 * Know-how dealing with building and maintaining complex event-driven systems
 * Demonstrable experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
 * Ability to build highly performant APIs to power data visualizations
 * Experience dealing with scalability requirements and performance improvements
 * Ability to collaborate well with others
 * Startup experience as a plus
 * Strong communication skills
 * Prior experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven development as a plus
