You will own meaningful product slices end to end, from user experience and frontend implementation to backend APIs, integrations, data models, instrumentation, and launch readiness. This is a role for engineers who want to build products that do real work in production. You will partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Sales, B2B Marketing, and operations teams to understand high-value workflows and ship systems that improve customer engagement, pipeline, conversion, and team productivity. The role is ideal for a strong product engineer who can move between product craft, systems engineering, applied AI, and measurable business outcomes. You should be excited to build from ambiguous problem statements, ship quickly, and improve products based on real user feedback. What You'll Do * Build AI-powered products and workflows that help sales and B2B marketing teams identify opportunities, coordinate work, and engage customers more effectively. * Own full-stack product experiences from prototype through launch, instrumentation, iteration, and production hardening. * Design intuitive user journeys that combine polished interfaces, reliable services, structured data, and practical AI capabilities. * Create product surfaces that help humans review, supervise, and improve automated or AI-assisted workflows. * Build reliable frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations with internal tools and business systems. * Use telemetry, qualitative feedback, and product metrics to understand adoption, friction, quality, and business impact. * Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Sales, B2B Marketing, operations, and other GTM stakeholders. * Translate ambiguous customer and operational problems into clear product requirements, pragmatic technical decisions, and working software. * Make thoughtful tradeoffs across speed, product quality, accessibility, reliability, privacy, safety, and operational simplicity. ## Related Videos - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [30 powerful AWS hacks in just 30 minutes: Boost your developer productivity](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1624-30-powerful-aws-hacks-in-just-30-minutes-boost-your-developer-productivity) - [APIs and Architecture for scaling omnichannel payments](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/90-apis-and-architecture-for-scaling-omnichannel-payments) - [Building Products in the era of GenAI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/827-building-products-in-the-era-of-genai) - [Nest.js - TypeScript in the backend can also be clean](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1033-nest-js-typescript-in-the-backend-can-also-be-clean) - [Building the Next Generation of Software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100186-building-the-next-generation-of-software) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [What is Software Engineering in the Age of AI?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/640-what-is-software-engineering-in-the-age-of-ai) - [MLOps And AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/82-mlops-and-ai-driven-development) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [What is Agentic Programming and Why Should Developers Care?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/625-what-is-agentic-programming-and-why-should-developers-care)
