## About the Role

* Master's/PhD degree or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of equivalent practical experience
 * Experience with at least one programming language
 * Practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis
 * Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

 * Practical experience in designing, building and deploying machine learning models.
 * Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks) and managing production deployments.
 * Proficiency in SQL, MongoDB, IMSDB and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
 * Prior experience in consulting roles, demonstrating the ability to manage client relationships and deliver data-driven solutions.
 * Domain knowledge in the airline industry or related fields is highly desirable.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

 * Demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving
 * Ability to view data from different angles to employ feature engineering techniques to better represent models
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
 * Ability to interact, work, and develop relationships with people from diverse backgrounds

## Description

 * Collaborative problem-solving: partner with cross-functional teams and other analytics professionals to identify high-impact business opportunities and frame analytical problems that align with organizational goals.
 * Data acquisition and preparation: obtain, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data from diverse sources to ensure robust data pipelines. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights.
 * Deployment and maintenance: deploy models as proofs of concept and collaborate with IT engineers to integrate models into production environments. Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure continued effectiveness.
 * Data visualization and reporting: create compelling dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholder, translating data insights into actionable business recommendations.
 * Thought leadership and advocacy: promote data-driven decision-making across the organization by leading workshops, developing tutorials, and sharing best practices in data science.
