## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer Science or a related field
 * 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in software development
 * Proficient understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields, as well as custom code including Apex Classes, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Components, etc.
 * Experience with Web APIs, REST, JSON, Web Sockets, and other web technologies
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

 * Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator
 * Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
 * Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools

## Description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Objective:

 * Creating solutions by designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce customizations, including Apex classes, Aura Components, Lightning Pages, custom objects
 * Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
 * Supporting, maintaining, and improving existing Salesforce customizations for optimal functionality
 * Creating brand new Salesforce solutions as team needs change in our fast-paced environment
 * Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs
 * Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system
 * Ensuring compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce

Your Tasks:

 * Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and other technologies
 * Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents
 * Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions
 * Identify and trouble shoot issues related to Salesforce integrations, customizations, flows, and custom code
 * Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and Salesforce solution are implemented
 * Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations
