Education: * Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. * Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: * One (1) to three (3) years of related network administration experience required. Background Prerequisites: * Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing. Preferred Qualifications: * Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). * Experience in AS9100 and/or ISO 14001 certified environments. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: Physical Requirements: * Frequently: sitting, using hands for computer tasks, handling equipment. * Occasionally: standing, walking, lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. ## Description The Network Administrator is responsible for providing network support to maintain efficient, secure, and reliable operational computer networks. This role involves assembling, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems, hardware, and software to support business operations and ensure end-user satisfaction. Essential Functions: * Assemble and configure network components and services, including backup, security management, user account management, email systems, internet access, and office applications. * Set up and maintain basic network operations such as file servers, mail servers, Ethernet networks, and cabling systems. * Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and resolve common network issues. * Install, upgrade, and configure network hardware, software, and services including printing, directories, rights, and file services. * Implement and manage network security systems such as firewalls, file permissions, disaster recovery plans, and system integrity checks. * Provide technical support to users and respond to requests for access or troubleshooting of network resources. * Establish and maintain user accounts, directories, and security settings. * Conduct training and instruction for users on operating systems, relational databases, and applications. * Maintain confidentiality and security of information accessed, processed, or stored on company systems. * Test and install new software and hardware as needed to support operations. * Support company initiatives and demonstrate values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement., * Exposure to electronic equipment, cabling, and IT hardware. * Must follow safety procedures and security protocols.
