## About the Role

Information Technology (IT), Problem Solving, Software Quality, 3 + years of related experience, Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The IT Quality Assurance Tester Senior must have:

 * Education: Technical Training, Certifications(s) or Degree

 * Experience: 3+ years of related experience in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline

 * Technical Skills:
 * Ability to learn new systems and create customized and/or automated test cases
 * Experience with Scrum/Agile project lifecycle approach to software development and testing
 * Experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment
 * Exposure to or ability to learn DevOps methodologies and solutions
 * Exposure to or ability to learn SQL and SQL*Plus

 * Role Requirements:
 * Adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, time management, multi-tasking, and task ownership
 * Excellent communication skills

 * Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)

 * US Citizenship Required

## Description

As an IT Quality Assurance Tester Senior, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of DHS and OBIM.

 * Review and evaluate software products and/or systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards Lead/Manage/Support
 * Write and execute test plans using JIRA application
 * Engage with clients/users/stakeholders to define system scope and objectives
 * Provide support and technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles
 * Validate enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with other QA/testing personnel and stakeholders
