## About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President to support various compliance-related functions these and future funds. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but is also comfortable working independently on detail-oriented tasks., * Strong organizational, attention to detail and issue-spotting skills

 * 5+ years of related experience working in a compliance role or paralegal role.
 * A strong interest in long-term career growth within the organization (5+ years).
 * Familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act and FINRA Rules
 * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
 * Think critically and come up with solutions to solve challenges
 * Proactive in new situations and independently manages projects to conclusion.
 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.

## Description

* Key skills include regulatory interpretation, compliance testing, drafting policies.
 * Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage ongoing due diligence questionnaires.
 * Assist in the annual review of compliance programs for funds.
 * Assist with regulatory filings for the funds.
 * Review compliance policies and procedures for sub-advisers, service providers, and funds.
 * Help monitor and analyze industry and regulatory developments., * Attending client meetings where you are discussing Blackstone products and/or and client questions;
 * Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients;
 * Supervising or training securities licensed employees;
 * Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products; and
 * Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.
