## About the Role

* Hands-on, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined.
 * Comfortable troubleshooting electronic assemblies in a fast-paced environment.
 * Able to read and understand electronic schematics and test documentation.
 * Skilled or willing to learn IC programming and flying probe operation.
 * Capable of Level 1 soldering and minor electronic repairs.
 * Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
 * Effective communicator with both internal teams and customers.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

 * Experience with microcontroller board testing and programming.
 * Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
 * Experience working in an ISO-regulated environment is a plus., * Electronics Technician: 2 years (Required)

## Description

* Perform power-up and functional testing on various microcontroller-based circuit boards.
 * Program all components utilized on boards using IC programmers and MJS programmers.
 * Learn, operate, and support flying probe testing and programming.
 * Troubleshoot boards that fail testing in an accurate and timely manner.
 * Perform minor board repairs and coordinate repair handoff to the Production Department.
 * Build breadboard prototypes to support engineering development efforts.
 * Read and interpret electronic schematics and engineering documentation.
 * Create and update drawings, test reports, and parts lists.
 * Maintain and update Engineering Department documentation in compliance with ISO requirements.
 * Maintain calibration records and support CIS documentation.
 * Communicate test results and reports to the Production Manager.
 * Identify potential issues early to prevent missed deadlines.
 * Communicate with customers when problems arise with supplied tests, master chips, or master diskettes.
 * Use common hand tools and lab equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment.
