This position is expected to work in-office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, and remote on Mondays and Fridays. Shift is 8AM - 5:30PM. Essential Responsibilities * Installs, maintains, monitors and modifies the organization's local and remote wide area network system. * Designs, specifies, configures, installs and maintains local, remote and wide area network hardware, software, and data communication services such as personal computers, system software, applications, printers, servers, modems, switches, cabling, and internet service as assigned. * Assists with and may develop, test, implement, and enforce policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisitions, use, support, and security. * Assists with and may install, upgrade, configure, and maintain network devices, network printing, directory structures, rights, user environment, software, file services and related security issues. * Prepares and maintains documentation of network configuration, network maps and cabling plans. * Trains users on software and equipment usage. Provides end user support, including responding to Helpline requests. * Researches and evaluates system needs and new technologies.
